We couldn't be happier with our new en-suite bathroom from Hugo Oliver. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, and the finished result is absolutely beautiful. Kaspar, who carried out all of the work, has an incredible eye for detail, and it really shows in every aspect of the installation. He worked tirelessly, even through the recent heatwaves, and was always professional, hardworking, and meticulous. Nothing was too much trouble, and the care and pride he took in his work gave us complete confidence throughout the project. We're so impressed with the end result that we've already asked Hugo Oliver to install our second bathroom. These guys were fantastic to work with. From The first stage of design to the final tweaks, the team maintained excellent communication throughout and finished a large family sized bathroom in 3 weeks. We are all enjoying it so much and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hugo Oliver and Topps Tiles for a future bathroom refurbishment.
Disappointing overall. Designer struggled with a design that would actually work in my bathroom. Within 5 minutes of fitter arriving they said it wasn’t possible so it has to change, and told by the project manager the designer sometimes makes mistakes as she’s not a builder can’t always know what’s possible. Overall poor finish with chipped tiles installed, sharp edges we’ve cut our hands on and ugly chrome trim everywhere as they didn’t have skills or equipment to mitre. In the end I told them to leave the decorating as the finish was terrible, but not surprising as it was a plumber doing it. Had them back twice as the shower screen was leaking and they’d not attached the toilet to the floor as well as other things they hadn’t picked up. Plasterer board is now cracking as it’s not been installed properly and smell of drains coming from the bath. I called them, emailed, text over the course of a month before I finally got to speak to the owner Paul and was told me they’d arrange to sort this out but not a word in 3 weeks. Not the mention the absolute mess of my flat they made in the month it took them to do the work. Nothing luxury about this company, neither customer service or quality of what they do. I do have a bathroom that’s at least not leaking so it could be worse but I expect much more from a company that is apparently luxury and told me continuously how good they are.
