West One Bathrooms - Battersea

I do not often leave reviews, but the service I received deserves special recognition. The showroom itself is fantastic, showcasing a very wide range of products across all styles, from modern to traditional. Special mention goes to Gianluca. From the moment we arrived, he was very polite and attentive. He welcomed us warmly, offered us beverages, and provided a brief tour of the showroom, explaining that their extensive product portfolio allows them to satisfy nearly any request. It has been an absolute pleasure working with him on my last three projects, and I will definitely continue working together in the future. His attention to details and helpful suggestions made the entire process very smooth. Furthermore, he provided excellent after-sales support too, proactively reaching out to suppliers for installation assistance when required and handling returns efficiently. Throughout the entire process, I received fantastic service, including the delivery, where drivers were also very helpful. Gianluca's brilliant service is highly recommended

Gianluca has been an absolute star to work with. So far he has worked on two of our projects he’s made the whole process so easy despite my time constraints and limited knowledge of products.. He’s enhanced my choices and smoothed over the issues we had. Honestly a real relief and life saver. Highly recommended.

Have had excellent service over multiple projects with them. Recently Jo Wilkinson went above and beyond negotiating with the manufacturer to allow me to return an item incorrectly ordered by me well after the allowable return date. Great service.

Stood around for 10 minutes while staff was chatting amongst themselves. I guess we’ll get our bathroom elsewhere. EDIT in reply to West One Bathroom’s reply: This was on Saturday, around 4pm, right before another lady came in to pick up a parcel. The employee who greeted us when we came in found it strangely more important to talk about his wristwatch than to check on the potential customers who he had just greeted. Not sure how much training can rectify that but I’ll leave that to you. Anyway, thanks for the offer but we won’t come again as there’s only so much time I can dedicate to shopping around for a bathroom and a guest toilet, and I tend not to give second chances. This ain’t the bible.

I went to the Battersea branch to discuss getting a bath. We weren’t sure of the size as building work was not finished, so asked if we could return it. No problem they said. The day it was delivered it was clear we could fit in a bigger one, and so returned it. The bath was sent back with all original packaging but a flimsy cardboard cover for the top was squished. Due to this they refused a refund. Keeping this easily discarded bit of cardboard was never mentioned at our initial consultation/sales-pitch. WestOne then said we could sell the bath on EBay. Having a small baby and a job I don’t have time to become a bath salesman. They also delivered some bath feet we didn’t order which we returned unopened. Despite many follow up emails and phone calls we were never refunded for these either. They have taken hundreds of pounds from us and given us nothing. Awful company.. Dreadful customer service. Avoid like the plague.. Edit: Despite the response below, WestOne never returned a penny to us.

We have just bought a bathroom (all fixtures / fittings) from West One Battersea. The design service and the sales attendant Kevin was super helpful throughout design process helping us with different suggestions. All the items arrived on time and so we thought all was ok. HOWEVER after waiting for the building to start we finally opened the shower tray on the day of supposed install from the box only to discover there was a big dent / crack in it. We checked all the boxes and found no scuffs proving is a manufacturing error. We sent pictures of the untouched boxes and tray clearly showcasing what the error is to West One. Initially we were told we would receive a replacement two days later, only to be told on the day it was supposed to arrive that HQ have declined this and that because of T&Cs we need to pay for a new one despite it CLEARLY being a manufacturing error. They sent someone to pick up the existing tray - their own driver could recognise it was a manufacturing error - and now we are still waiting for a response having been fobbed off to HQ. We are a family of four with one bathroom, have had no bathroom for two weeks and now it's looking likely that this mistake will cost us more labour time and it's yet to be resolved. Having read through some of the negative reviews it's clear West One shirk responsibility when there are manufacturing errors so I would stay away and go with another bathroom retailer. We are yet to have our situation resolved and it's costing us time and money. Our builders are booked to start a new job next week and without the tray they can't finish ours. We went with West One as we thought it was a sure bet for service and quality and being there to solve any potential issues. I would not use again and in future and would not recommend.

I went back to West One in my search for my new bathroom and in fact largely copied one of their showroom display sets as I could see what the finished effect would be. I am very happy with it, it looks great and works well. Kevin was a great help in putting it all together and keeping to my budget. I appreciated being able to pop in there with any questions or queries I had and nothing was too much trouble for him. Especially as after a fitting problem we ran out of tiles, which could have been a disaster as I had friends coming from USA to stay, but Kevin pulled out the stops to get me the 2 more tiles I needed to get it finished on time. Great products and service. Thank you.
