Stuart Hughes has done a number of projects for ourselves. We needed a new bathroom to take away the bath and replace it with a large shower to accommodate our advance in age. We searched for local people when I came across Stuart his reviews were outstanding so we asked him to come and look at the job. We had to wait for him as he is always booked up which is testament to his commitment and outstanding work. One of his outstanding qualities is his ability to listen to what you want but to guide you to the best outcomes, making suggestions and guiding you to the best materials. Needless to say he did an outstanding refit of the bathroom. He returned six months later to refit the en-suite making the most of the small space with an outstanding design. During this time he recommended a gas fitter to install a new boiler and assisted again with re-sighting the boiler and working with the gas fitter for an excellent outcome. Stuart then returned and designed a fitted wardrobe in the main bedroom, making the most of an alcove over the stairway. It’s the envy of anyone who sees it. He returned to refit my kitchen and did a fabulous job improvising the limited space with innovative techniques and design giving me a kitchen that I love and now have a space for everything. His attention to detail is second to none. His ability to make your home an easier more comfortable place to live. We needed a new loft ladder and to relocate the entry and make it bigger, again Stuart did a marvellous job sourcing the best materials and the best possible prices. To give Stuart Hughes 5 stars 🌟 doesn’t seem adequate as he goes above and beyond in every scenario. If you have a problem with anything he returns as soon as he can you’ll always be his customer.

Through no one’s fault, our bathroom project became far more protracted and complicated than anyone had anticipated. But having committed himself, Stuart stuck by us and the project to its successful conclusion. Thanks to his experience, diligence, good advice and attention to detail, we now have a beautiful bathroom that is way beyond our expectations. Thank you for a job well done!

We hired Stuart to renovate our utility room and bathroom, which involved some building work, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He handled every challenge that came up with skill and a positive attitude, and his attention to detail was outstanding. He offered thoughtful advice on things we wouldn’t have considered ourselves and made sure the work was future-proofed. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again.

I've spoken with Stuart twice this year about getting a kitchen fitted. Unfortunately he's too busy yo fit me in within my timeframe, which is clearly testimony to his work! Despite this, on both occasions Stuart gave me lots of time over the phone to guide and advise me, and I couldn't be more grateful. Last year we contacted Stuart as we needed our bathroom to be updated and some problems with our drainage to be rectified. We were so pleased with Stuart's work that we arranged for him to come back to remodel our ensuite bathroom and our utility room. In order for this work to be done we needed to overcome some obstacles regarding the layout of the rooms. Stuart's help with planning and designing the rooms (explaining different options) was invaluable. We have been impressed with every aspect of Stuart's work, including his ability to find solutions to any difficulties. All his work is done to the highest standard. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him and he always makes sure the result is exactly what we want. It has been a pleasure to have Stuart working in our home and we will certainly contact him again if we want work done in the future.

I am so grateful to Stuart Hughes for his help and advice regarding my kitchen and other queries. He recently advised me on several ways that I could improve my kitchen by replacing the plinths and cabinet end support panels, etc.and that a replacement kitchen was not needed at the moment! I have taken his advice and renewed the floor covering too and the kitchen looks much, much better. Stuart has saved me a lot of money, so a Big Thank you and when I eventually do need a replacement kitchen, I will certainly know who to go to ! Stuart has a portfolio of building work projects that his company have done over the years, plus ongoing work being done . All photos being on his phone, which I found very interesting. If anyone needs any help or advice, I recommend this gentleman and his firm.

So glad we chose Stuart Hughes to undertake our bathroom rebuild. Stuart is highly skilled across a range of construction disciplines and has a wealth of experience in this field. He is also very good at identifying solutions to various problems which arise during major refurbishment. During the course of his work on our bathroom he kept us fully appraised of progress and offered many useful tips and suggestions. He is very efficient and always keeps the work area as clean as can be which is appreciated, particularly when dealing with black mortar walls such as we had. Aside from his professionalism and high work ethic, he is also a very nice, trustworthy person who we soon looked upon as a family friend. Our new bathroom is modern, stylish and will meet our needs in perfectly for many years to come. We would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to have work of a high quality undertaken.
