From start to finish, they project managed a major renovation of our home with professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. The work included knocking through our kitchen and dining room to create a fantastic open-plan living space, professionally fitting a beautiful modern kitchen, completely renovating our en-suite to an exceptional standard, and transforming our lounge into a warm, cosy room with a beautifully wall-mounted TV. The quality of workmanship throughout was outstanding. What really set them apart was their patience and flexibility. I changed my mind more than once during the project, but nothing was ever too much trouble. They were always sympathetic to my evolving ideas while offering practical, honest advice to help achieve the best result. Their experience and guidance were invaluable. They were reliable, trustworthy, and always turned up when they said they would. They consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed to the highest standard, often doing more than was expected to ensure we were completely happy. If you’re looking for a builder who genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional result, takes pride in their work, and treats your home as if it were their own, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Richard, Sam and the team have recently designed, planned and fitted our bathroom and small WC room. From the outset they have been extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and totally professional. Richard and Sam gave us their expert advice and took on board all our requirements during the design process. In the installation process all of the team were respectful and when a significant issue occurred (one that could not have been foreseen, our previous shower had leaked and caused considerable damage to the flooring), Richard immediately communicated this to us and had it sorted with no fuss whatsoever. We recently had our bathroom and kitchen redesigned and refitted by Oldfield Bathrooms and Kitchens. From the very first meeting to the final completion we received a professional, personal and caring service. Both jobs involved knocking down walls and rebuilding work. Throughout both jobs Richard and Sam were amazing. Their commitment to the job, professionalism and customer care were fantastic. Richard designed both bathroom and kitchen. Richard’s expertise and knowledge in design is outstanding and he knew exactly what would look best using the overall space that he was working with. Every day was planned to an exact timetable. Richard consulted with us every step of the way and told us at the end of the day what would be happening the following day. He ensured that the tradespeople always arrived when planned. The tradespeople were professional at all times and experts in their own fields of work. A very big thank you to Sam who advised on all the appliances, sinks, taps, flooring, lighting and worked so hard communicating with us every step of the way regarding the dates everything was due to arrive. Everything really did run like clockwork. Richard and Sam run such a professional, organised business but the kindness and customer care shown to us was overwhelming. We are absolutely delighted with our new bathroom and kitchen. We would highly recommend using Richard and Sam for any bathroom and/or kitchen jobs. Thank you.

Our experience with Oldfield's has been faultless from start to finish, from Sam's wealth of design knowledge and flair to Richards design and amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had the kitchen of our dreams. Richards work in the house was so clean every possible eventuality was covered, the floor was protected doors removed and stored etc. and were amazed by the daily progress in terms of the kitchen transformation. Every evening Richard came back to the house to talk through the work that had been completed and if any minute decisions needed to be made which ensured that we had the perfect kitchen for us and that everything was considered and explained in a way we could understand. Sam was available by email & phone for any queries and updates regarding product choices and questions (of which there were many..) Sam also visited our kitchen several times to again ensure that quality and again re-affirm some of the design choices we had all made were collaborative in every detail. The team that Richard has assembled to work with him are of the highest calibre from electrician to plasterer to kitchen quartz fitters everything ran like clockwork and again overseen by Richard and Sam which was incredibly reassuring . Work was carried out in time in budget and to absolute perfection which is all you could ever ask for, Richard and Sam’s after service is amazing and are still on hand to give further advice when required.
