Inspired Bathrooms

Our experience with Inspired Bathrooms was having our downstairs WC, the family bathroom and the ensuite bathroom all refurbished. We had a reasonably good idea of what we wanted but Ian was able to give some practical design advice which steered us away from some of the ideas we had considered. Ian works closely with North Bristol Plumbing Supplies who have a wide range of products, knowledgable staff and offer a very good design service (very much worth visitng their showroom just to get an idea of the types of products out there). The order you place with Inspired Bathrooms is for the labour and tools elements of the works - you will be provided with a schedule of materials which you need to purchase. This isn't particuarly onerous as you could purchase entirely from North Bristol Plumbing Supplies for ease or break it down to however many suppliers as you see fit should have you access to some trade rates (I was able to get tiles, radiators and some sanitaryware through trade connections at work). With us having three rooms done there was a concern that there would be some major disruption. Ian sent Joe to do with downstairs WC first which was finished in about four days. The family bathroom and ensuite were tackled a bit later but concurrently with two gangs, one on each bathroom. Despite some challenges arising from shoddy workmanship from prior building work Ian and his team were able to turn around both rooms in a week and all whilst maintaining a very high standard of preparation and finish. Don't expect to get a quote and a slot scheduled in quickly - Ian's reputation is such that his schedule is stacked for months! Inspired Bathrooms are perfectionists and very much an example of "you get what you pay for!"

Ian and his team has done a brilliant job on our bathroom. Ian managed to accommodate our special requirements and all of that was done in just 5 days for a reasonable price. I chose this company as the reviews were just what I wanted to read, so thought, this is the company I want. I am a woman living on my own, and did question myself, what am I doing, where do I start. Anyway after contacting Ian he sent Dan to look at what I wanted. Which was my toilet and bathroom knocked into one, bathroom gutted, bath removed and walkin shower installed, as I have problems with my knees, a walkin shower was a must. Dan was lovely, and suggested a different way of configuring the room, so I liked the sound of it, and that's what I stuck to ( after all, they are the experts ). They started the job when they said, Joe and Mike, I left them to it and went to work. Every evening they put a toilet back so I had something to use. They cleared up after themselves everyday, they kept me informed of progress or any issues they came across, and of course nothing was a problem for them. It has taken until now to post a review as friends and family wanted to see, they are as pleased as myself, it usually starts with WOW, all I can say is, I know it's great isn't it. Whilst I like tiles, I really dislike grout, the chemicals are a nightmare and so I asked for paneling, also I want paneling on my ceiling, but white, which is what I got. It is all clean looking, but easy to keep clean. I absolutely love it, I just don't know why I didn't do it sooner. Ian you have a fantastic team behind you, which can be a rare thing these days, they do you and your customers a great job, nothing is to much for them, well done Ian and all his team. A very happy customer.

Ian of Inspired Bathrooms gave us a very accurate estimate of both work and costs for our replacement bathroom. Joe did the complete refit with skill, expertise and enthusiasm. Any queries we had beforehand were dealt with and explained fully to put us at ease. We now have a brand new fully fitted bathroom which we absolutely love! I cannot recommend Ian and his team of skilled tradesmen highly enough.

After worrying about renovating our bathroom for months, we were fortunate to come across Ian and his team at Inspired Bathrooms. The process from start to finish was managed well and communication was excellent. Ian was also clear on things that weren't included in the renovation (e.g. painting of the ceiling) which was helpful to plan remaining work. We knew our bathroom would be a challenging renovation due to the placement of our drain at the back of our house, thick cottage walls, poor previous renovations, the need for a Saniflo unit for the toilet and a pump for the water to drain. This was carefully considered at the planning stage and our requirements also taken into account (going from a more traditional bathroom to a wet-room style). Once arranged, the process to plan the bathroom was very straight forward and good advice was given to us at the showroom about products and tiles that would be suited to the renovation. George and his team started work promptly and took great care to make sure the rest of the house was not impacted by their work. They worked quickly and with care and the quality of the workmanship was exceptionally high. There was a problem with one of the parts and good communication ensured a speedy resolution to this and the bathroom was then tested and ready for use. Aftercare was very well considered and we were contacted to make sure we were happy with our new bathroom and small adjustments completed as needed to some pipework and to check serial numbers of the equipment. In particular, the clear up of the remaining rubbish was completed thoroughly, with care and very quickly, which we were very grateful for. We were very glad to get such wonderful results with our bathroom and would not hesitate to recommend Ian, George and the team for bathroom renovations in tricky properties like ours!
