Total Heat & Bathrooms

We had our bathroom renovated a couple of weeks ago and it’s beautiful! John came out to give us a quote he questioned a few of my choices and said it’s your bathroom it’s totally up to you however this might work better, what about doing this? I was open to his suggestions as they are the professionals and we went with some ideas and it worked so much better, things I’d of never thought of doing. I had specific dates ideally I wanted to the work to commence in certain dates to minimise disruption for the children before end of term which they worked to. I was given an overall quote which whilst several changes to plans and layout changed the quote remained the same. We were assigned the lovely Andy, who worked tirelessly through the heatwave we had in June. We actually joked at the end we would miss him coming everyday. The guys did everything they promised, we trusted them and in times had to trust the process but could not highly recommend enough. Before John came round I had, had around 8/9 different quotes and it was them challenging me in certain things that they didn’t think would be best for my tiny bathroom, their honesty and transparency that I went with them. No regrets! Book with them if in doubt between a couple of quotes, they’re fantastic!

John made a mistake with the toilet, meaning the replacement was very similar to the one we removed, rather than the more modern style we had planned. Communication was mixed and, while some parts of the work were fine, the overall finish could have been better. The photos show several untidy or unfinished areas, including rough filling, staining from a leak, and a hole in the ceiling caused by an accident. To be fair, the leak may have been partly due to poor previous workmanship, and John did send the workman back once to address snagging. However, I was disappointed John did not come round himself to inspect the finished job. Had he done so, I think these issues would have been clear. Overall, the job was not finished to the standard we expected. We had considered using them for further work, but based on this experience we will be looking elsewhere.

We are so very pleased with our Bathroom now that its finished! We had a complete change! Bath removed and replaced with a walk in shower, a wall hung Pedestal Sink finishing with a whole wall tile surround! John advised us at the begining, best way going forward with time scale, fittings and overall cost. Paul arrived on the agreed start date, each day on time, putting in a good days work, leaving all areas clean at the end of the day, was always friendly and courteous, he has done a great job! We would very much recommend Higher Bathrooms, Urmston.

We recently had our cloakroom toilet renovated by THB and we’re really happy with the overall result. From the very beginning, John was great to deal with - he came to visit on the same day I first contacted him, and the work started about a week later, which we really appreciated.The pricing was also very fair for the quality of the work and service provided. During and after the construction, we had a few small issues that needed sorting, but John always responded quickly with a great attitude and made sure everything was resolved promptly and professionally. The finished cloakroom looks great and we’re very pleased with the service from start to finish. Would recommend THB to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and fairly priced work.

Got a bathroom refit from Total Heat, really satisfied! Our fitter Mark did a really fantastic job, would recommend for sure. It's hard to find good contractors for house jobs, so overall it's a relief when you get a good one. Good communication & organisation from John & team also.

This company thoroughly deserves the excellent reputation it has. We found them to be prompt, communicative, easy to work with and, above all, brilliant in their delivery. They transformed our shabby bathroom into a modern, efficient unit which is a pleasure to use. They did this without undertaking a complete renovation, but kept the cost down by working with the underlying structure, repairing floorboards, renovating and upgrading the panelling, using Waterwall which looks so good, and installing a new bath and shower. They replaced the fan and even worked with a last-minute request to include a tall cupboard after the work was completed. The fitter himself is very professional - an artist in his crafting - and the whole team have been a pleasure to work with. We are glad we found them and highly recommend their work.
