Everything was well organised, communication was clear and the work was completed earlier than scheduled and to a high standard. A special mention has to go to Unique Plumbers who were excellent. They were professional, punctual, friendly and clearly took great pride in their work. They left everything tidy throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were happy to answer any questions I had along the way. I am delighted with the finished bathroom and would not hesitate to recommend this company.
The initial installation of our shower was completed to a good standard. The plumber, tiler and electrician were all professional, friendly and did excellent work, which is why I have given 3 stars rather than a lower rating. Unfortunately, things went downhill when the shower began leaking due to a faulty pipe that had been installed. I completely understand that things can go wrong and mistakes do happen. That in itself was not the issue. What was disappointing was the way the company handled the situation afterwards. The leak resulted in a hole needing to be cut into our kitchen ceiling to access the pipe. While this was necessary to carry out the repair, we received a phone call demanding full payment before the ceiling had even been reinstated. During this call, staff were extremely rude and repeatedly referred to the terms and conditions, insisting payment was due because we had a "functioning bathroom", despite the fact we had been left with a large hole in our kitchen ceiling that was still awaiting repair. I subsequently raised a complaint with management, but the response was dismissive and gave the impression that they simply did not care about our concerns. When they returned to repair and plaster the ceiling, they left plaster dust and debris throughout the kitchen. The floors, washing machine, oven and even artwork on the walls were covered. We were left to carry out a significant amount of cleaning ourselves. In addition, the repaired section of ceiling now requires repainting as it is visibly a different colour from the surrounding area. It is disappointing because the original installation team were excellent and the quality of the initial work appeared to be very good. Problems can arise and most customers understand that. What matters is how those problems are dealt with. In our case, the aftercare and customer service fell well below the standard we expected, which ultimately overshadowed what had started as a positive experience.
Absolutely fantastic service! The team did a full rip-out and refit of both my main bathroom and en-suite. They were professional, efficient, and tidy throughout the entire process. The finish is absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend them!
I contacted total bathroom installations to come out a give me a quote to refurbish my bathroom. The person that came out took a few measurements then proceeded to tell me it would cost £10500 and take two weeks. I didn’t even discuss or choose tiles, fixtures or fittings. Our en-suite is a very small space. I was also told if the en-suite was three times the size it would be the same price. Suffice to say we did not proceed.
Have had a bathroom refurbished to shower room by T.B.J. Was impressed by the whole team of workers. Had quote and layout done by Ryan who was exceptional in helping us decide what would suit us best. Fitters Matthew and Aaron lovely fella’s arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves every day, were pleasant and great workmanship from them. Rubbish cleared away quickly. Very happy with finished job and couldn’t thank the whole team enough. As 2 pensioners it is great to deal with such a lovely team. Would recommend them without hesitation.
