Easy Bathrooms & Tiles

Let’s start with the positive. The design process is easy and Ivan in the store knows his stuff and is very helpful. I ordered a bathroom last year and the shower valve leaked. The store were zero help. They didn’t seem to understand that I might expect one of the joints that I’d made to leak (they didn’t) but the unit supplied to me should be watertight. After some condescending ‘advice’ about the use of PTFE tape, I went to the store in person. The individual I spoke to wasn’t remotely interested and advised me to call their helpline (seriously?). Cutting out a lot of back and forth, I was eventually told that the valve I’d received included non standard fittings. The assumption being that I’d been sent a unit that was a return. Unacceptable but they did eventually send a replacement. I was reluctant to use these guys again but ordered another bathroom a few months ago. The sink/worktop was supplied damaged on theee occasions which had had a massive impact on my timeline and other trades that I’ve had lined up. A fault free unit was eventually delivered a week or so ago. I hoped to finish the bathroom yesterday but having fitted the waste into the sink I found that it didn’t work properly, so I’ve had to take it out again. I was absolutely furious. No response from Easy Bathrooms. They clearly couldn’t give a toss about wasting my time. I have little faith in the quality of the rest of the bits. If B&Q had been anything other than hopeless I would have used them. AVOID!!! Update I received a call from their customer services team 4 days after raising my latest complaint and sending 2 emails chasing a response. During that time, I got fed up waiting, sourced and ordered another part, waited for delivery and fitted it. I was offered an amount of compensation and was told that I’d receive an email that I could use to make direct contact in the event of any further problems. No sign of the email. It turned out that I needed an additional part (a 660x200mm bit of grey MDF). With no direct means of contact I went through the shop who offered to sell me the part for £84. £84 for a bit of MDF!!! This is clearly where they are making their money. I have received the compensation as promised. This wasn’t a token amount and I really appreciate the gesture. That’s upped this review to 2 stars. I’m going to add a few words on my experience fitting the bathroom. I’d purchased a scheme that was similar to a fitted kitchen. I’d kind of expected that I was purchasing a system of parts that would fit together intuitively. The hidden cistern didn’t fit into the cistern unit without modification and the seat didn’t fit into the toilet without additional parts. I’m a mechanical engineer and have plenty of experience fitting stuff like this so I have a good idea of how things should work. The end result looks great now it’s eventually finished though

Not had a great experience. My order had broken tiles and I have been waiting two weeks for the replacements. Told they’d call when they arrived this week and they haven’t, and aren’t answering the phone. Tiles themselves look good though and the staff are nice when I actually speak to them, it seems to be more of an issue of management.

We recently used Easy Bathrooms in Cambridge for our bathroom, ensuite and cloakroom. After previous bad experiences with other bathroom fitting companies, we were apprehensive. Luckily we had a great experience with Easy Bathrooms and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We mostly dealt with Megan in the Cambridge showroom. From the beginning, Megan went above and beyond, she was professional, affable and reassuring, she knew the products well and did a great design making the best of the limited space in our bathroom. Yurii and the install team did an excellent job, with a great standard of finish and the work was completed well on time. Yurii was professional and approachable, he asked for our input at key points and kept us up-to-date throughout. Overall we are extremely pleased with the service we received from everyone at Easy Bathrooms, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Great service great advice and the products are better than normal. Staff are friendly and gave us great input.

Good value, good customer service. Reasonable range of mid quality bathroom products. Does what it says on the tin.
