From start to finish, all dealings with Richard & his team were dealt with in a timely manner. Richard came to give us our initial quote & was happy to give us advice, not knowing if we would use his company or not. We received our written quote & terms & conditions within 4 days. Once we’d accepted the quote we were offered 3 dates for the work to start. Dom & Finn who did the work, worked efficiently & kept everything clean & tidy & were friendly & respectful of our home at all times. The work was completed to a high standard & we are very pleased with how it looks. We would certainly recommend this company & wouldn’t hesitate to use them again ourselves.

Absolutely recommend Richard and his team - Dom, Mitch and Finn who have recently completed a shower room upgrade / elderly/ disabled adaptation that we are absolutely loving. Mess was minimal.All were professional and respectful of our property and we were confident when leaving them in the house when we needed to go out . Price was very competitive. Thanks also to Lee the electrician and Paul who took away the rubbish and left the area clean and tidy.

Richard and his team have been fantastic. I contacted them because of the god reviews I’ve read, and I certainly have not been disappointed. I needed a bathroom (en suite) refurbishment due to water damage and wanted the comfort of having everything as simple as possible: someone to make the design decisions, buy and bring all materials, get rid of the rubbish, and do the various work from plumbing over tiling to plastering. Richard and his team have done all this, and to a very high standard. Moreover, worth stressing, is that Richard was super helpful in checking and fixing various other smaller issues in my other bathrooms and investigating various possibilities for the water leaks (e.g. on the attic). Finally, not to overlook, Richard’s team was highly professional: working to the agreements, showing up on time, and cleaning up after themselves. And, last but not least, he and his apprentice were always cheerful and nice to chat with. Overall, couldn’t recommend Bates Plumbing more highly!

I saw reviews for Richard on the Wibsey Business Directory and they were all great so I made contact with him to see if he could help me because I needed new bathroom taps fitting urgently. He told me he was very busy but asked me to leave it with him and he would see what he could do and when. He came back to me later that day (Friday) and said he could manage the following Tuesday morning. He came today and did a great job at a very complex price - he even supplied all the taps for me. I can highly recommend Richard.

Richard gave a quote for a bathroom refit and got us booked in quickly. There was a slight delay due to unforseen circumstances but Richard was in constant communication, there was no mess leftover, any issues with the refit were dealt with quickly and effectively by Richard and his team and the work was completed to a high standard. Would highly recommend!
